Virginia Ann (Herrell) Davis, 84, surrounded by her family, went to a peaceful rest in Jesus on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Virginia was born on May 3, 1939, to Dorothy Bishop in Heiskell, Tennessee, where she spent all off her primary years.
Virginia met her husband, James Duncan, who was in the United States Air Force and they began their life together. Their life in the Air Force sent them all over the United States landing in a different state every couple of years. This was a very busy life for Virginia as she gave birth to their four daughters during her husband’s military career. Klamath Falls, Oregon was the final duty station they were assigned to before retiring from the Air Force. At retirement they picked up their family and moved back home to Tennessee.
After making her life in Tennessee, Virginia, following her daughters, returned to Klamath Falls with her late husband, Eddie Davis where they continued their life together. Virginia kept herself busy crocheting, thrifting, and collecting. She loved singing in the church choir where she made several lifelong friendships. Spending time and looking after her grandchildren was always a priority for Virginia, ensuring that each of her babies were loved and taken care of. She had a way of making her grandchildren feel so special and loved.
Virginia had 4 daughters, 8 grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is survived by: Daughter and son in law, Donna and Kenny Reeder, daughter Dinah Duncan, daughter Rita Smith, and daughter Sarah Revis, Grand children: Jamie and Ryan Badker, Allen and Kui Reeder, Jeremy Hawkins, Brandon and Jena Dykes, Rachel Hawkins, Melanie Barron, and Leslie Olivas; Great Grandchildren; James, Elizabeth, Andrew, Cassie, Steven, Chelsea, Hannah, Nate, Jadon, Savannah, Amalyiah, Camdon, Ava, Shaydin, Colin, Jackson, Dravyn, Summer, Alex, Gabriel, Julian, Katy, Nicky, River, Asher, Aurora, Vincent, and Victoria; Great-Great Grandchildren: Paisley, Hazel, Ren, and Hayden.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Davis and granddaughter Danyelle Karr.
Virginia was known and loved for her big personality and strong southern drawl which she never lost. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.
