Bobby Ray Dukes,75, passed away on May 25th, 2019. He was born on April 11, 1944 to Clifford and Anne (Miller) Dukes in Many, Louisiana. After attending Klamath Union High School in the class of 1963, he worked for and retired from Weyerhaeuser after 30 1/2 years. He then worked for ten years as a pilot car driver with Kelley Kilgore at Housing Transport Incorporated.
In June of 1969 he married Claudia Worley with whom he had two children, Michael Ray and Angela Rene.
In June of 1988 Bobby married Sheri Coker and gained Stacey, Jeri and Jason and loved them just like they were his own.
Bobby's passion was hunting, fishing, woodcutting, family, and friends.
Bobby is survived by Sheri, Mike Dukes (Tawnie), Angie Cherry (Bernie), Stacey Stevens (Willie), Jeri Allen (Diana), and Jason Allen (Bear). Papa was deeply loved by his grandchildren, Tausha (Mike), Jordan (Kalee), Danielle, Kaylee (Garrett), Tommy, Harmonie, Michael, Hayleigh, Trevor, Jacob and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Delores Bagett (Bob), Jackie Lucht (Jim).
Bobby was also proceeded in death by his parents and a brother, Gordon "Shorty" Dukes.
A memorial service will be held at the Woodworkers Local Lodge W12, 3836 Altamont Drive on Friday May 31st at 1:00PM.
