Gary LeRoy Wells

Gary LeRoy Wells age 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Cedar Trails surrounded by his family on October 23, 2019.

He was born to LeRoy and Ethel Wells in Chico California August 19, 1944. Attending Corning schools and graduating in 1962. After school he started his Mechanical Apprenticeship career in Mare Island, Vallejo.Before starting his career he served in the Army as a diesel mechanic and was first on the marksman team.

His career as a Hydro Machinist with the Bureau of Reclamation working on dams. Taking him and his wife Kristy of 40 years all over the western states from Redding Calif. to the Rockies in Colorado, Page, Arizona, Folsom Dam,Folsom, Calif. and back to Redding. After retiring he enjoyed driving a logging truck with his brother and worked back in hydro plants in Western United States again.

Gary enjoyed shooting, sailing, RVing, 4 wheeling and restoring old cars. He and Kristy retired to the community of Cedar Trails in Keno 16 years ago.

Survived by his wife Kristy, sons David (Carol) Bratton of Washington and Clint (Dana) Wells of Idaho. 6 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister and faithful companions Max and Cooper.
