We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at O’Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel
Anthony "Tony" Ernest Marino November 14, 1953 – August 2, 2021.
Tony was born in Compton, California to Anthony J and Lucinda "Lulu". He was raised with his brother Darrin, his sister Linda, his favorite cousin and best friend Robby, and many cousins. He graduated in 1971 from Manuel Dominguez High School and joined the military. A point of pride for him was his service as a firefighter in the United States Air Force for twenty years.
Larger than life and walking sunshine and a friend to every person he met, he was well known for feeding any guests and welcoming anyone into his home as their own. He will always be known for his kindness and selflessness. He will be missed by a vast amount of friends and family. He was a regular with his friends at the Klamath Grill. He was a life long dedicated fan of the NFL Raiders. He happily took his grandchildren to school and back. He always stayed busy by usually helping others.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, sister Linda, and daughters Jennifer and Stacey. He leaves behind his loving wife Susan Marino of many decades, two daughters Lauren Frost (and husband Daniel) and Kyla Marino-Drake (and husband Aaron), Steven Zibkowski (Stacey's husband), grandchildren Andrea Zibkowski, Cade Zibkowski, Samwell Frost, Rebecca Frost, and Conner Leach.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on August 14, 2021 at O'Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel.
