Charlie Clark, 74, passed away on October 25, 2023, at Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House in Albany, OR, with his family by his side, following a brief and courageous battle with brain cancer. A lifelong Klamath Falls resident, he was born on May 12, 1949, to Roy Earl and Karlin Therese (McKay) Clark.
Charlie attended Sacred Heart and Klamath Union High School. In 1969, he enlisted in the Marine Corp and served his country proudly during the Vietnam war. Following his time in the service, Charlie returned to Klamath Falls, where he worked for Weyerhaeuser and later Collins Products until retirement.
Charlie was an avid photographer and technology enthusiast who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his son, Michael Clark, sister Maria Clark Harmon, and brother Royce Clark. Charlie was preceded in death by his father Roy Clark and mother Karlin Clark.
To honor Charlie’s memory, a Celebration of Life will be held on November 18, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Klamath Falls, Oregon, at 10:00 AM. Recitation of Holy Rosary will take place before the mass, at 9:30 AM. Interment will be after the service, at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
