David Lee Daugherty of Klamath Falls, OR, left this world on Feb. 13, 2022. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Friday, Feb. 18, at O’Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Bonanza Memorial Park Cemetery.
David was born in Klamath Falls to Norman & Elsie (Davis) Winter. On June 10, 1972, he married his love, Sue Casson. Dave was a very kind, loving man and give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved to tease and play all sorts of jokes on his friends.
Dave loved western music and enjoyed dancing. He was an avid mushroom hunter and loved spending time on the road with his son, Joe. He was a very hard worker and had a lengthy career as a contractor in the Klamath Falls area. His hardworking ethic is something he passed on to his family.
In addition to his wife, Sue, he is survived by his three children and their spouses: Kelly & Robert Vaughn, Kristina & Ken Shade, Joe Daugherty; six grandchildren: Levi, Dakota, and Savannah Vaughn, Kyra Shade, Maria Hill, Joseph Daugherty; three great grandchildren Aaliyah “Peanut”, Blake, and Izabella. He is also survived by sisters Rose and Shirley, and brother Art; uncles Lee Davis and Shorty Davis, and best friend Larry Pridemore; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, a brother and sister-in-law, and a baby Joseph. David is dearly loved and greatly missed. Rest in Peace.
