Debby Guerrero passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2023, in Klamath Falls Oregon.
She was born in Salem Oregon on October 14, 1959. She lived in Eugene, Oregon before moving with her family to Klamath Falls in December of 1969. She graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1977.
Debby possessed an amazing array of gifts and talents. Her creative abilities were unmatched. She could make almost anything she envisioned - Costumes for her daughter Hannah, cakes for family and friends, and crafts for any occasion. She was especially known for her Blueberry Cheesecake! It was her most requested dessert and loved by all.
She never missed an opportunity to help with Hannah’s Dance Team, making costumes, being a team mom, attending all the various school activities and accompanying her on field trips. She was a very involved mom and grandma. Debby thought the world of her grandchildren, Kristian, Viviana, and Zamora. She loved spending time with them. They were her number one priority.
She always maintained a good relationship with the father of her children, Kip Guerrero.
She was a very hard worker. She held various jobs through the years, including working for Dick Howard, cleaning offices and homes and caregiving for the elderly. She especially loved the people she cared for. She treated them as if they were her family and it brought her great joy to serve them well.
In recent years she enjoyed spending time learning to bow hunt, gardening, and canning with her special friend and partner Brent Lyon.
She loved spending time with her family and was very close to each of her grandparents, Edna Vaughan and Willard and Ruby Thomas. As a child she would spend summers on the farm in Monmouth, a tradition she continued with her own children. She loved her Uncle Lyle Thomas and was more like a sister to her aunt, Arlie Jean Carroll.
Debby is deeply missed by many. She leaves an empty space in our hearts.
