Frances Pisan

Frances Pisan or as friends knew her, Frani, left this earthly realm to be with God on September 22, 2020, after a long battle with an illness. She was 57 years young.

It would be wrong to say that Frani lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Frani stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looked like. There was no quit in Frani. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.  She loved to be in the water and also go camping whenever she had the chance. Her joy was to sit and watch her grandchildren play. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, where she could set up the tree with her family and drive around to see the Christmas lights.

Frani is survived by her husband Steve and their two daughters, Melissa Getty, and Vanessa Herrera, her sons-in-law, Oscar Herrera, Anthony Getty, her grandchildren, Nattaly, Michael, Alyssia, Kaleb, Johnathon and Steven.

She will be greatly missed, and her memory will live with her family forever.

If you would like to attend the service, it will be held on October 3, 2020. The Rosary will be held at 10:30 with a mass following at 11:00. It will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
