Fred Nicholas Lutz, Jr. was born in Corvallis, Oregon on August 30, 1943 and passed away at his home on September 26, 2020. He grew up in Blodgett and graduated from Philomath High school. He worked in the timber industry for many years and moved to Klamath Falls in 1973 to continue his career in the industry. He later worked for the Klamath County Road Department before his retirement.

He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed designing and creating many gifts with his talents. He was an avid outdoorsman and particularly loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Katherine Lutz and his sister Beverly Clair. He is survived by his sisters, Marjorie Henderson and Cathy Gassner; his four daughters, Brenda Trial, Deborah Pierce, Amanda Lutz & Christina Lutz; multiple nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
