John Edward Johnson passed away on September 25, 2023, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 30 at First Presbyterian Church, 601 Pine St. He was born on May 29, 1950, and raised in Klamath Falls by Don and Muriel Johnson with his two older siblings, Richard Johnson and Lynn Carlson.
John graduated from Henley High School and Oregon Institute of Technology. He spent his youth farming on his family farm on Old Midland Road, then joined his father’s construction company. He then started Mountain Pacific Construction and was a longtime respected contractor across Southern Oregon and Northern California.
John is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debora Johnson; his children, Jarod Johnson and Jillian Moulton; his six grandchildren Austin, Noah, Summer, Riggs, Whitman and August; and his sibling, Richard Johnson.
