John Manuel Sarabia

John Manuel Sarabia passed away on February 7, 2021, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He was born on February 16, 1953, to Maria Sarabia in Los Angeles, California.

He is survived by, his three sons: Robert, John and his wife Esther, Jeremie and his significant other Catherine; his grandchildren John, Charity, Faith, Grace, Caitlin, and Alyssa; his sister and brother-in-law Connie & Fidencio Astorga and his brother and sister-in-law David and Tammy Salcedo, his former spouse Sharon Sarabia and many cousins, nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother.

John moved from Los Angeles to Klamath Falls in 1995. Over the years, he was a cook in local establishments.  He was an avid runner and participated in many community races as a member of the Linkville Lopers.  He was an adventurer & could be found on his motorcycle, riding his bicycle, or hiking wherever the day led him.  John spent a lot of time sharing his love for the outdoors with his grandchildren.  John always had a smile for you and could make you laugh even on the toughest of days.

A memorial service will be held at a later date when families and friends can safely gather in Oregon.
