Joe Glidden died peacefully at his family home in Klamath Falls on October 10, 2021 at the age of 65.
Born March 24, 1956 in the Klamath Valley hospital to Chuck and Pauline Glidden, Joe grew up on High St, attended Riverside Elementary, Mazama Jr. High and graduated from Klamath Union High class of 1974.
On August 16, 1982 he welcomed a son, Valhalla Glidden, who predeceased him on February 17, 2002.
Joe was a hard-working man, who spent 46 years in the timber industry. He worked for Columbia Plywood, moving to Weyerhaeuser in 1986 and retired from Collins Products in February of this year.
Kind, generous, and highly intelligent, Joe could be found, in his spare time, working on complex math problems or reading books covering a wide variety of subjects.
Joe is predeceased by his parents, Chuck & Pauline Glidden and son Val. He is survived by his long-time girlfriend Mary Anne Blaschka, and siblings: Corky & Jennie Glidden, Cathy Glidden, Dennis Glidden, Nancy & Evan Erickson, Julie & Steve Bruce, Paul Glidden and Carol & Dave Coker in addition to grandson, Quinten Glidden.
