Linda F. Hilyard

Linda Frances Hilyard, a resident of Klamath Falls, died November 3, 2022 at the age of 59. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at O’Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel.

Linda was born and raised in Klamath Falls on June 9, 1963, to Garret and Jean Hilyard. She attended Henley schools and was active in 4H and choir. She was a varsity letterman in track for four years.

After high school, her education included an Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in allied health and medical radiologic technology from OIT. She was employed at Kadlec Medical Center, an orthopedic clinic, and two emergency clinics in Richland, WA. She also taught in the medical field at OIT. She enjoyed both helping patients and working with students.

Linda enjoyed spending time with family, oil painting, and writing. Her favorite travel destination was the Oregon Coast.

She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Larry & Debbie Hilyard; sisters and brothers-in-law Shari & Clayton Daniel, Susan Hilyard Bailey and Lee Bailey; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, grand-nephews and -nieces, and cousins. She is also survived by special friends Todd Breedlove, Jerry Peterson, and Laurie Amayea.

She was preceded in death by her parents Garret & Jean Hilyard, and a brother Steven Hilyard.
