Louise Emma Dawson

Louise Emma Dawson was born June 15, 1923 in Klamath Falls, OR to Frank and Minnie Tunnell. Raised in Dorris, CA. She passed peacefully in her sleep September 19, 2020. Preceded in death by brothers Walter, Don, Cliff, and George Tunnell, sisters Estella Harrington, Jocelyn Probst, and Ellen Maxwell. Son Jimmie Burton Dawson. Granddaughter Jewel Molchanoff. Great-granddaughter Alicia Morehouse. Survivors are daughter Peggy Bieler and sons Jerry and Leslie Dawson, grandchildren Greg and Denise Dawson, David Bieler, Trenna Morehouse, Darcy Dawson, Erica Mochanoff, and Melissa Molchanoff. Numerous great grandchildren and a few great great grandchildren. Special friends Kay Nork and Rozalia Killian who called her mom and numerous nieces, nephews and their children.

Louise married Burton Dawson February 2, 1941. He died March 20, 1972. During her time with Burton she would help feed the workers in the field. They enjoyed going camping, fishing and hunting. After Burton passed Louise met Hank Downs and they spent numerous years enjoying each other’s company and dancing. Louise loved to be visited by family and friends and she loved her cat named Kitty. Louise lived a long life and will be greatly missed by all of her family.
