MARIA NATIVIDAD, WAS A DEVOTED MEMBER OF SACRED HEART CHURCH SINCE 1956.  MOST RECENTLY, SHE LIVED WITH DAUGHTER EVANGELINA AND FAMILY IN MERRILL, RECUPERATING FROM A WRIST SURGERY, AND FAITHFULLY ATTENDED ST. AUGUSTINE.

WITH A LARGE FAMILY, HER JOB WAS AT HOME.  LATER ON, SHE WORKED OUTSIDE THE HOME PICKING POTATOES, WEEDING ONIONS, PREPARING POTATO AND GARLIC SEED.  DOING SO, IMPROVED HER ENGLISH SKILLS AND NURTURED WHAT BECAME LIFELONG FRIENDSHIPS.

CROCHETING WAS A WONDERFUL TALENT AND PAST TIME.  SHE LEAVES SO MANY BEAUTIFUL PIECES OF HANDMADE ART AMONG FAMILY AND FRIENDS.  HER FAITH WAS IMPORTANT AND INSTILLED THE SAME IN HER CHILDREN.  BUT AS A HUMBLE WOMAN OF MEAGER MEANS, SHE WAS COMPASSIONATE, AND CHARITABLE, DEVOTED TO HER FAITH.
