Nadine Shepherd

Nadine Shepherd was born May 12, 1936 in Detroit Michigan.  She died August 19, 2022 in Longview, Washington.

Nadine was the daughter of Warren and Helen Morehead and had one brother, Warren Morehead, Jr.  She married Tom G. Shepherd in August 1963.  They had four wonderful children; Verna (John) Rutledge, Mike (Michelle) Shepherd, Theresa (John) Walker, and Mary Kay (Robert) Wise. She was beloved Granny to eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews.

Nadine loved music and theater and did a few productions at the Ross Ragland Theater. She also was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary. During this time she held many and maybe all of the offices at the Ladies Auxillary including Grand President of the State of Oregon.

Nadine loved to sing with the Sweet Adelines and all of her children and grandchildren. When she could find someone to go fishing, she would jump at the chance. She was also a painter and cardmaker. Ireland and Scotland were just two of the places she traveled.

Nadine is preceded in death by her husband Tom G. Shepherd, her parents, brother, and granddaughter Jennifer Wise.
