Orville Vaugh Obituary

Orville Edward Vaughn SR, 83, passed away Monday September 6, 2021 in Sky Lakes Medical Center, Klamath Falls, Oregon. Orville was born on February 3, 1938 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Orville and Jessie Vaugh (Kennedy). After graduation from High School he joined the Army.

Orville lived his entire life in Klamath Falls and worked for Klamath Pacific, Jefferson State Rock and Stukel Mountain Paving.  He was well known as a driver, operator on road projects and would often witness  on the job by asking if you knew Jesus. Orville enjoyed the outdoors by fishing, hunting elk and birds and camping throughout the state. Orville was a member of the NRA. Orville enjoyed working in the ministry by attending church, witnessing to others and helping others with their faith.  He helped as a Sunday School teacher, teaching in Bible studies, and he was active in Jail Ministries.  He was president of Ambassadors of Christ.  Orville received a certificate of ordainment through his studies of the Bible. Orville was a avid race car driver. He won many races and received tropies.  He was known on the track as “Awful Orville”. Orville loved with all of his heart and he gave his all.  He will always be remembered as extremely precious and rare. He was greatly loved and valued. He enjoyed giving anyone a ride if they needed  to go somewhere.  Orville liked to visit and take part in “Chapter 12” with the Disabled Veterans.

Orville was married to Darlene L Withers for 28 years.  He then married Annie Vaughn.  He then married Jerri Leah Walls who he was married to for 14 years. Orville is survived by his wife Jerri, daughter Cassandra Young, son Russell Vaughn, step children Brandon, Wyatt, Josiah, and Michael. Grandchildren Krista, Brandy,  Brandon, Natasha, Thomas, Derek, Daniel, Matthew, Joshua, Jacob, Brittany, Ashley, and Danny.  Great Grandchildren, Brandon, Wyatt, Josiah, Michael, Damian, Taylor, Carlean, Woynoka, Destini, Kaylania. Special friends Daryl & Linda Wise and Gary Sweet.

He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Jessie, spouses Darlene, and  Annie, daughters Karla, sons Frankie, Ed, and Tom.
