Pamela Stout Obituary

Pamela S Stout passed away in Klamath Falls, Oregon on Monday June 14th. At Pamela’s request, there will be no services held.

Pamela was born on July 26, 1946, to Fred D. Shandorf, Jr. and Miriam G. Shandorf in Mitchell, South Dakota. In 1963 she graduated from St. Charles High School in St. Charles Minnesota, and then attended Cornell University, graduating with a degree in History in 1967.

Pamela married Floyd T. Stout Jr. in El Paso, Texas on June 25th, 1980 at Northgate Christian Church. Upon Floyd’s retirement from the Navy in 1988, Pamela moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon and began a 15-year career with the Klamath County School District. During her time working with KCSD Pamela was assigned to multiple schools as a guidance counselor, these included Bonanza High School, Stearns Elementary School, and Henley High School. Pamela retired in 2003, and began the life of relaxation, and trips with her husband Floyd.

She is survived by Floyd T. Stout III (son) and Nicola Stout (daughter-in-law) of England, Phillip J. Stout (son) and Paige Stout (daughter-in-law) of North Carolina, Michelle S Stout (daughter) of Alaska; grandchildren Michael, Zachary, Madison, and great-grandson Max. Peter Shandorf (brother) and Roberta Shandorf (sister-in-law) of Minnesota; nieces Annie, Marta, and Liana.

Pamela was blessed to have made many special friends while living in Klamath Falls, including Bernice Sharpe, Cheryl and Maddie, Bert and Patty Hansen, Glenn and Verla Haddock, John Beckstrand, and Leslie Wilkenson.

Pamela was preceded in death by her husband Floyd T. Stout Jr., brother Donald Shandorf, aunt Barbara Thompson, and both her parents.
