Ralph Ernest Howe, 87, peacefully passed away with family by his side on December 28, 2021, at Sky Lakes Medical Center. Ralph was born in Sacramento, CA on May 16, 1934. After graduating high school at Grant High, Ralph joined the Air Force and served as a Jet Engine Mechanic for 4 years. He worked in construction and was a member of Operating Engineers for many years. Ralph later began his career in automobile insurance where he retired from the CA Automobile Association in 1996.
Ralph married the love of his life, Sharon, on June 23, 1984. Upon retiring, Ralph and Sharon moved to Reedsport, Oregon where they lived for 15 years before moving to Klamath Falls, Oregon, Ralphs final resting place.
Ralph was an avid hunter and fisherman all his life. He was always the life of the party, always smiling, whistling, or telling some of the best jokes. Ralph was a volunteer for the Oregon Salmon/Trout Enhancement Program for over 15 years. Ralph also enjoyed golfing, camping, traveling with his wife, spending time with his Grandkids, Great-Grandkids, and especially spending summers with his Great-Grandson, Brenden.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Sharon. His son, Kevin of Gold Run, CA. His Granddaughter Nicole Siebrase (James) and their four children, Brenden, Ashlyn, Ava and Ellie; Granddaughter Jennifer Rua (Matt) and their three children, Alexa, Maisy, and Saylor; Granddaughter Kelly Howe of San Francisco, CA; Granddaughter Kristen Howe of Portland, OR. Ralph is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends who will miss him dearly. We have all gained a beautiful, joyful angel.
A celebration of Ralph’s wonderful life will be held in the springtime, details to be announced at a further date.
