Raymond Johnny Ohlde

Raymond J. Ohlde died peacefully on November 5, 2020. A viewing will be held Friday November 20, 2020 between 2-4 P.M., in O'Hairs Funeral Chapel. A private family burial service will be held on Sat. Nov. 21, 2020 at 10 A.M., at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.

Ray was born January 8, 1927 to Otto and Clara (Harms) Ohlde on the family farm in Snohomish, Wa. He graduaed from Snohomish High School. He worked hard all his life, starting on the family farm and other farms until he married in 1953. He married T. Arlen (Lindgren) Ohlde and started raising kids. He went to work for Weyerhaeuser in Everett, Washington and then in Klamath Falls, OR., where he spent 38 years. In retirement he grew nice gardens and was famous for his Walla Walla Sweet Onions. He attended Christ Lutheran Church where he was a charter member since 1986.

He is survived by his children, Richard Ohlde of Klamath Falls, OR., Mark Ohlde, Donald Ohlde and Shauna Larsen (Ohlde), all of Bend, OR. He also has 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Arlene Ohlde (Lindgren) who passed in 2013, a son, David E. Ohlde and a granddaughter Clara and a great grandson Demetrius Ohlde-Perez.
