Rodney B. Comer, Sr. was born: August 28, 1939 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. On November 12, 2020, He left this earth to be reunited with his parents, Alba Comer and Marjorie Comer; and his brother, Larry Comer, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Annette Comer. He was father and hero to 5 children: Jannette Harmon living in Shelton, Washington; Rodney Comer, Jr living in Klamath Falls, Oregon; Steven Ayers living in Damascus, Oregon; James Ayers living in Klamath Falls, Oregon and Angela Trainor living in Chiloquin, Oregon. He is survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Rodney Comer graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1958. He served his country in the Navy on the USS Saratoga from 1960-1964. He lived in Klamath Falls, Oregon and worked at Weyerhaeuser/Collins Timber from 1965-2000. After retirement he and Annette were snowbirds spending the winters in Arizona and the summers in Oregon. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing; watching eagles and eating crab.
A graveside service will be held on December 10, 2020, 1 PM at Eternal Hills.
