Rodney Darwin Klus

Rodney Darwin Klus 85, passed away Monday January 18, 2021 at his residence in Klamath Falls, OR, with family by his side. Rodney was born May 6, 1935 in Great Falls, Montana to Rudolph and Inga (Dahl) Klus. Rodney graduated from high school and attended college. He entered the USMC in 1954 and served till 1957. He met and married Mary E. Wells in 1981. Mary and Rodney enjoyed 40 years of marriage. Rodney worked for Weyerhaeuser for many years and retired as a Supervisor in the Hardwood Department. Rodney enjoyed wood working, hunting and fishing in the Klamath Basin. He was a board member for the So. Suburban Little League and was part of building new baseball fields in the basin.

Rodney is survived by his wife Mary, sons and daughter in laws; Brett and Princess Klus of Raymond, WA, Rodney and Karen Klus of Burns, OR, Daughter and sons in law Katherine Sullivan and Randy Shepherd, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, niece Connie Colas and nephew Steve Klus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Allen C. Klus. Per family request there will be no service’s at this time.
