Ryan Joseph Cavendish

    Ryan Joseph Cavendish was born November 24th, 1976, in Reno, Nevada. He passed away unexpectedly on May 6th, 2023. Ryan was truly one-of-a-kind and had a way of making any room he walked into brighter. Chances are that if you knew him, or even had the opportunity to meet him, you have a funny story to share or can remember a time when he lifted you up. He was a caring and compassionate man who was fiercely passionate about his family; a great lover of the outdoors, where he felt most at peace. He found purpose in helping others through his work in the mental health field, after obtaining his Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Southern California. 

    Ryan is survived by his wife of nearly 15 years and many other loving family members and close friends who will miss him tremendously. He blessed each of our lives in so many ways, with so much love and laughter throughout the years. He is preceded in death by close loved ones, including his father Chris, and beloved uncle Frederick. He also follows his faithful companion and hunting partner Belle. We are comforted by knowing Belle is by his side, searching the open fields and skies for geese.

    A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
