Scott Cheyne

Scott William Cheyne, 53, died in Klamath Falls on Nov. 29, 2022. A Mass will be held at Holy Cross Parish in Tulelake, CA at 10:30 am on Friday, December 9, 2022. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2023.

Scott was a fourth-generation farmer and Oregonian who enjoyed life, good company, and a well-earned laugh. Raised on potatoes, Louis L’Amour novels, and an occasional comedic movie, Scott never turned down a spirited political debate. There was no doubt where he stood on a topic.

Scott’s professional life included turns as a farmer, irrigation district manager, and manufacturing shift leader. Hobbies included reading history, outdoor sports, and “bird watching” (primarily Duck and Seahawk type).

Those who will miss Scott’s candor, wit, and charm include: Janine and their children Alexis and Ethan; Brenda and their children Haydee and Lio; parents Larry & Sandra; brother Larry; sister Christy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
