Sharon Louise Wade McCadden
Sharon Louise McCadden, 83, passed away in Klamath Falls, Oregon on December 27, 2023. She was born October 26, 1940 in Enterprise, Oregon to Merton S. Wade and Bethel (McCrae) Wade. Sharon grew up on the Wade Ranch and was the eldest of the four children.
Sharon graduated from Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Oregon. She attended Oregon College of Education and later transferred to Eastern Oregon College where she met her future husband.
Sharon married William “Bill” McCadden on August 6, 1960. They were married for 47 years, until Bill’s passing in 2007. They made their first home in Kooskia, Idaho then lived in American Falls, Idaho before settling in Joseph, Oregon in 1970. In 1990, they moved to Chiloquin, Oregon where Sharon was very active in the Methodist church.
Sharon loved her family immensely and enjoyed watching them at their sporting events. Being a Mom and Grandma was her favorite thing in life. Sharon was extremely kindhearted, compassionate, and loved all. She believed it was important to “Love one another” and spent her time showing her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren how much they were loved. She had a way of making each of them feel special. The stories of her youth were always shared in great detail, and she loved reminiscing about family history, stories of the old days in Wallowa County and the events and adventures of her life. She will be greatly missed.
Sharon is survived by her children and their spouses Kevin and Melanie McCadden (Enterprise), Dixie McCadden and Jodi Wolsky, Matthew and Margaret McCadden, and Sally and Levi Reeves (all of Klamath Falls).
