Sheryl Lynn Manning passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on May 23, 2022. Born in Long Beach, California, in 1954, Sheryl retired from the OHSU Nursing Department, and was a proud member of the Osage Native American Nation, filling her home with works of art and collectibles representing her Osage heritage. Other collections included racoons and Micky Mouse; and she was an avid Pepsi drinker.
She was the loving wife of Jon Manning, celebrating 27 years of marriage and love together. Sheryl was the loving mother of two sons; Brent and John Hunter; grandmother to Mathew and Cali Hunter, and sister to surviving siblings Terry Hainsworth and William Baker. She is also survived by two daughters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Ralph Baker; brother Rick Baker; and sister Bobette Robinson.
