Wilma June Edwards passed away June 25, 2023, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She was born October 18, 1932, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, to James and Ora McClure.
Wilma was married to James Monroe Edwards for 50 years, having exchanged vows on August 3, 1951. James passed away on Father's Day, 2002, and that day was never the same thereafter. Also preceding Wilma in death are daughter Betty (Steve) Stecher, in 2011; daughter Peggy (Clint) Smithe, in 2015; her parents: James Dyer McClure and Ora Nellie McClure, and sister Susan (Jim) Fuller.
Survivors include two daughters: Stella Dillenbeck and her husband Lloyd, of Klamath Falls, and Ann Csergei and her husband Guy, of Pullman, Washington. Also surviving are sisters Mary Ann Potter whose late husband, Vernon, passed away in 2018; and Fern Campbell, whose husband Earl Campbell also passed away in 2018. Also surviving are brother Steve McClure and wife Valerie, ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
At this time, no services are planned. Private interment will take place at Willamette National Cemetery, along side her beloved husband, a Korean War Era veteran.
